A village in Belarus by an old forest. The street has eleven wooden houses, and seven of them are ours. We want to save these houses, welcome guests in them and make food from what grows around.
The street and the houses stay where they are. Beside them come a pond with a banya, horses, an apiary by the forest and a shared table under the apple trees.

Right now nobody lives in the houses. The lower logs are rotting, the roofs leak, the gardens are overgrown. Without repairs the houses will stand for only a few more winters.
We will restore them in the local style: log walls, a stove, carved window frames. Three houses will welcome guests, the others will hold a cheese dairy, a workshop and the dining house.
The owners lived in Italy for 16 years, so the village will have a little Italy in it: a garden with artichokes and Italian evenings.
What we are doing

How guests will live
A guest arrives in the village, settles into a house for their own family, goes to the banya by the pond, eats what grew here and leaves with a jar of syrup as a gift.

What your help changes

New lower logs, a roof and a stove. A house that would otherwise collapse lives again.

A cheese dairy, an apiary, a kitchen and a workshop give work to people who will want to live here.

Guests see European bison, go to the banya and take home the village's food.
